Faith Circle
Faith Circle is the name of Mt. Calvary's local chapter of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML), the official women's auxiliary of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. For over 65 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions. Our chapter is part of the Montana District of the LWML.

Special Programs
Prayer Chain: The Prayer Chain is used when there is cause for thanksgiving or concern that we can pass along to one another for each of us to take to God in prayer. The person making the request should e-mail the list or call one of the Faith Circle officers.
Prayer Partner: A Prayer Partner is secretly drawn at the December meeting or when a new member joins. This will be someone to remember in prayer throughout the year and secretly remember on her birthday, anniversary, and any other special occasional to share Christian fellowship. At the December Christmas party, there will be an exchange of Christmas gifts and revealing of the Prayer Partners. Members are encouraged to keep gifts and remembrances throughout the year to a reasonable cost, with Christmas gifts not to exceed $20.
Love Basket: The Love Basket is a basket containing all the members' names. Draw a name from the basket, put a baked item, fresh produce, homemade item, or white elephant item, etc. into the basket and pass it on to the person whose name you drew. That person will accept the gift, put a free-will offering into the basket, and pass it on to another person with a gift in it within 2-4 weeks. The offerings will be used in a mission project voted on by the members.
"Dime" Project: This is a mission project for the December meeting. Beginning in January of each year, put aside 1 dime, in February, 2 dimes, March, 3 dimes, etc., until in December you have $7.80 in dimes collected. At the December meeting, these dimes are collected and used for a special mission project voted on by the membership.
